Garden rooms can get quite chilly during the winter months, but we at SunSpaces offer a range of solutions for this problem. Take a look at our suggestions, pick one that's right for you and you can start heating your garden room in no time.
1. First, choose a good garden room
First and foremost, it's essential to invest in a garden room that can stand the tests of the British weather. At SunSpaces, we're proud of the durability of our garden rooms. When you're heating your SunSpace, the 8mm thick safety glass traps heat, keeping your garden room nice and warm all the way through the chilly evenings.

2. Add heating accessories to your garden room
Although we also offer garden verandas, we know that these aren't always the best option for retaining heat within your space. This is why we offer a range of heating accessories, including outdoor heaters.
To suit all budgets, we have two types of outdoor heater for garden rooms - each with their own unique features and specifications.

3. Install a firepit or a gas burner
This is a possibility, but please be sure to discuss these additions with one of our sales consultants before installing anything. There's something extremely cosy about the thought of sitting in your SunSpace during a winter sunset while a flickering fire keeps you toasty, but you've got to make sure that you do it safely!
Warning: When a fire pit is operated inside a closed structure, it is imperative that you have extremely good ventilation to stop the build-up of harmful gases such as carbon monoxide.
4. Resort to old-school methods
There's nothing wrong with pulling on a woolly jumper and grabbing a blanket! If the other options aren't for you, then there's nothing wrong with going back to basics. After all, you can't beat the 'hygge' experience of being outdoors during the winter.
