Why should I invest in a SunSpace rather than a shed?

Our SunSpace Garden Rooms can be easily designed to suit any sized space, so you can make use of awkward or small garden spaces.

If you decide you no longer want to use you SunSpace for storage, you can quickly and easily convert it into a hospitable garden retreat! We have a whole range of accessories that can truly transform your SunSpace, including; heat lamps and remote controlled lighting.

Our SunSpaces are modular, so there's always the option to expand if you find you need extra space!

Won't the contents of the Garden Room be visible?

Don't worry about passers-by being able to see all of your valuable possessions stored away in the garden. We offer a range of different side panel options, including:

The British climate can be challenging. Take the last two weeks as a prime example – Easter half-term has come and gone and the weather has not exactly been warm and welcoming!  Even when it's not windy, it may be showery. When it's not sunny, it may be windy. And when the temperature drops just that little more, basking in the sunlight is but a desire.   The solution to this is to add a glass room or veranda to your home.

The solution: A Glass Room

Glass rooms are exactly that, an additional room made of glass. Protected from the rain, wind and marginal temperatures, you can relax and be in your garden for many more months each year.

The rooms are designed to your exact needs, and many people choose to have the ability to open up the glass walls on all sides. This allows you to shield yourself from the predominant wind direction while the sun is making you nice and warm. Or perhaps the sun is doing too good a job! Open the windward side and have a nice cool breeze to keep you just at the right temperature.

Verandas and glass rooms extend your living space by making the garden part of your home. The immediate transition of inside-to-outside now has a zone. You can either  sit inside your SunSpace and be protected from the elements, or you  can open up the sides and enjoy the sweet fragrances from the flowers and enjoy listening the sounds of nature coming from your garden space.

Another reason to sit back and relax is that these glass rooms add genuine resale value to your home. These high-quality extensions are very low maintenance. You will spend more time relaxing!

A Mediterranean  Lifestyle

Grab a book, a drink, and sink back into a comfy couch. Enjoy the sound of the rain tapping on the glass. Get sleepy as the sun warms you. Your glass room turns another spring or autumn day into a day in your garden.

Some people bring the garden into their glass room. Container vegetable gardening, ferns, or flowers, there are many ways to make the space even more pleasant. The transition from your home into your garden will be even more successful.

Because these rooms are designed specifically for your home, they can take advantage of any kind of space. Space you might have considered unusable because of its shape, size, or location becomes your favourite spot to sit back and let the worries of the day fade away.

Bring Luxury to your Home Today

Arrange for someone from SunSpaces to come and see you and discuss your requirements.   From a modern veranda through to a fully insulated glass room with automated lighting, shade, and climate control – we can cater for all your needs.

So, next time you feel trapped in your own home because of inclement weather, think about how nice it would be to have a glass room of your own.

Glass extensions to a home are not what they used to be twenty years ago. Gone are the days of cold conservatories.  While extensions were cold in winter, hot in summer and an eyesore to boot, these days glass extension are bespoke creations that add value to a home and are of tremendous benefit to those who have the opportunity to enjoy them.

More Space

For starters, you add more space to your home. Whether you want a place to entertain guests, where children can play, for lounging, or where you can indulge in a hobby, having those extra square meters can make a big difference to your family and your lifestyle.

Peace and Quiet

Other than a place for guests or the kids, a glass extension can be your haven of tranquillity. Up to now, when your partner was watching TV, or the kids were playing video games you had to put up with the noise or flee to your bedroom for some peace and quiet. All that changes with a glass extension. You can sit and relax listening to music, reading a book, or just gaze at the moon and the stars above. Should you crave privacy, curtains or blinds are easy to install.

Better Value

Not only do you create more space, but your home becomes more valuable. You’re not the only one who sees the benefits of a glass extension. Should you ever want to sell your home, and one house has a glass extension and the other one doesn’t, which one do you think will appeal to potential buyers the most? A glass extension is a huge selling point because of its many advantages.

Indoor/Outdoor

A glass extension seamlessly blends the outdoors with the inside of your home.  Door options include bi-folding doors.  These folding doors are perfect for opening up a room and mean that a five-metre run of glass doors can be neatly folded away into a space of just 50cm deep! What’s more, with double glazing as standard, a glass extension keeps the room cool in summer and warm in winter.

Wide Variety

Unlike a brick structure, a glass extension allows your home to be flooded with natural light. All you have to do is pick a style that appeals to you the most. When you browse through the various possibilities, you will no doubt be amazed at the beauty of glass extensions and how they changed over the years.

Once you have a glass extension, you’ll wonder why it took you so long to build one. Before you get started though, check with the local authorities in case you need planning permission. Chances are that you don’t, but you want to be on the safe side.

Perhaps you’ve toyed with the idea of adding a sunspace to your home. Perhaps, to get some ideas you’ve been looking online, at magazines or even at other people’s houses. You like what you see, but you have trouble deciding what would be best. Something in white, something in black, or grey? A sunspace with a solid roof or a glass roof?

At SunSpaces we take the worry out of your plans. We have a team of design experts who are also CAD specialists, a nifty computer program that allows them to create lifelike 3D designs of sunspaces. You can call us at 029-2080-3756, send an email to info@sunspaces.co.uk or fill in the form on our website. What we need from you is your name, your email address, phone number, the dimensions of the projects and any comments you might have. With this information, our designers get to work. When they have something set up, one of them will contact you to finalize the design.

If this or that needs changing, this will be done in a jiffy. After all, this is your design and you need to be happy with it. If you are satisfied with what you see we supply the materials and you can build the sunspace yourself, or if you’re not the youngest or the handiest of people, we will build it for you.

The creators of a 3D design of a sunspace do more than just present you with a structure though. Creative as this team is, they can include furniture and greenery for the sunspace. That way you get a clear idea of what you can do to turn this space into an addition of your home.

Just think about it, British weather is unpredictable and if you can enjoy your garden from May to September, you’re lucky. With a sunspace, you can enjoy it from March to October.

Once you have a sunspace, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without it. It’s a place where you can send the kids when they get too noisy, where you can get together with friends without disturbing the rest of the house, or where you can sit and gaze at the moon and the stars with a loved one. Do you crave solitude? A sunspace can be a retreat for you to sit and relax, read a book, or work on your craft in peace and quiet.

If you need inspiration, visit our gallery and see what’s available. There are cozy garden rooms, beautiful verandas, and luxurious glass extensions. You look, you decide, you let us know the dimensions, and we build your dream sunspace. First in 3D, then for real.
