What Is a Veranda?
A veranda is an outdoor structure consisting of a roof held up by several support posts. A veranda is usually built up against an outside wall (or multiple outside walls) of its property, although we can also provide detached verandas for those who would rather have a free-standing structure.
Verandas are open-air, and unlike sunrooms, they don’t have walls. Whereas a full garden room has glass walls on all three sides, verandas tend to be open plan, and are a popular choice for those looking for a home extension that feels more like a part of the garden, as opposed to another room in the house.

How big is a veranda?
All of our verandas can be designed to bespoke measurements suited to the shape and dimensions of your property. Depending on the style you prefer, our stunning verandas can come in widths varying from 2m to unlimited, with maximum depths ranging from 1.5m to 5m.
Will SunSpaces install my veranda for me?
Yes, most of our prices include installation. If you live in England or Wales, your veranda will be installed by the SunSpaces team, so you can take it easy! (That said, if you’d rather build your own veranda, you can - check out our Solaris DIY veranda kit.)
Why should I add a veranda to my home?

SunSpaces verandas can be supplied in virtually any size you desire – to say nothing of the built-in lighting and heating systems that we can also provide! We will work closely with you to ensure that your veranda matches the specifications you have in mind.
Free-Standing Structures
Most of the verandas we supply are installed up against the outer wall of the customer’s property, but if you’d prefer to add a free-standing veranda to your garden then we can easily accommodate this.
